For contractors and subs who bid the Evansville Tri-State

Hear about the job before it’s a bid.

Most projects are talked about in a public meeting months before the bid notice runs. Tristate Construction News reads those meetings, budgets, bond votes, plan filings and bid notices across three states, and tells you which projects fit your trade. Every Monday, in your inbox.

Every project has a schedule before it has a bid date.

A roof, a water line or a new gym starts as a line item in a board meeting. By the time it reaches the bid notice, the contractors who were paying attention have already met the owner and talked to the engineer. We pay attention for you.

  1. The need

A board, council or hospital talks about a project in a public meeting.

  2. The money

A budget line, bond issue or grant is approved.

  3. The designer

An architect or engineer is hired. This is when to call.

  4. The plans

Plans are filed with the state, including private work that is never advertised.

  5. The bid

The notice runs. Everyone sees it on the same day.

Questions contractors ask

Is this just another bid list?

No. Bids are part of it, but the real value is earlier: projects pulled from public meetings, budgets, bond votes and plan filings months before they bid. A bid list tells you what everyone else already knows.

What area do you cover?

The Evansville Tri-State: Southern Indiana, Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois. You pick the counties you work in, and that’s what you get.

Do you cover private projects?

Yes. We cover all projects, private and public. Private work shows up when plans are filed with the state or permits are issued, often long before anyone advertises it.

Which trades do you cover?

Every trade. We tag each project by CSI MasterFormat division, so a roofer, an electrician and a site-work contractor each get their own matches from the same project.

Can my whole team use it?

Paid subscriptions are per company and include up to three named users. Need more seats? Ask us.

Is there a contract?

No. Paid plans are month to month, or annual if you want two months free. Cancel any time from your billing page.

What’s the Pipeline Report?

A one-time catch-up report that comes with your first paid edition: every project in your trades and counties we’ve found in public meetings since June 1, 2026. It’s included with any paid plan started by December 31, 2026.

How accurate is it?

Everything comes from public records, and we link to the source. Dates and amounts can change, so confirm with the owner before you bid.
